My contribution in the Mural Project in Downtown Altoona.

The little girl waving is me and I'm holding my father's hand, waving to the conductor. The train is The Altoona, built in the Juniata shops, part of a commemorative series featuring towns that helped build the railroad across America. Behind it is the Railroaders Memorial Museum. (My dad's name is on a plaque inside.) Across the top, a portion of the lit "Welcome " banner that spans 12th Ave.

I enjoyed working on it, meeting the other artists and my heart was happy every time I heard the train whistle blow.
